Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, the Commercial Sales Assistant will provide administrative support to the commercial team. The focus of this position is to alleviate tasks that don’t require the specialized knowledge of the commercial sales person and free up their time to pursue continued sales growth.
Schedule: 42.5 hours a week Monday-Friday
Location: 6178 Mitch Owens Rd, Manotick
Wage Structure: Base salary + Bonus
Other Compensation: Â Health benefits, paid sick days
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with clients
- Perform tasks with diligence
- Respond to support requests from commercial sales team including sales order input, purchase order input, work order input, and supplier return coordination
- Execute material take offs
- Prepare samples and printed materials for clients
- Proactively seek ways to provide support and value to the commercial sales team
- Work with commercial sales team to learn about their important accounts and how to best provide service to them.
- Other tasks as required.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Professional approach and presence
- Outstanding attitude: have initiative, display excellent follow-up, have a positive outlook and be a pleasure to work with
- Extreme attention to detail to avoid client facing mistakes
- Experience working in CAD or other design software
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to speak French is considered an asset
- High school diploma essential; College diploma/university degree is considered an asset.
