Production Process
Hakwood's unique three-step production process creates a durable product unlike anything else on the market. The boards are hand made in the Netherlands and undergo a proprietary conditioning process.
The process begins with six to eight months of outdoor air drying to reach a set moisture level.
The wood is then moved to a kiln, for an additional four to six weeks of drying.
Once dried, the wood undergoes four weeks of intense conditioning for stabilization.

DuoPlank Specifications
Hakwood's signature DuoPlank is designed to reduce flooring movement.
It's unique construction is ideal for basements and over in-floor heating where traditinoal wood flooring is not suitable.

The Signature Collection is available in either 15mm or 20mm. The Lite Collection is only available in 14mm thickness.
