The WoodSource is proud to be the exclusive supplier of Hakwood in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
Production Process
Hakwood's unique three-step production process creates a durable product unlike anything else on the market.
Air Drying
The process begins with six to eight months of outdoor air drying to reach a set moisture level.
Kiln Drying
The wood is then moved to a kiln, for an additional four to six weeks of drying.
Conditioning
Once dried, the wood undergoes four weeks of intense conditioning for stabilization.
